The installation consists of large, painted curtain fabric hanging freely in space. The surface of the fabric is stained, smeared, and partially sealed with layers of acrylic paint, silicone and paper. Some areas appear heavy and opaque, others thin and fragile, allowing light to pass through. The material bears visible traces of repeated intervention: painted-over zones, glued sections, scraped-open areas, and repaired tears. Embedded within the fabric are transferred images, only partially legible. They surface and disappear again, as if buried beneath layers of paint and skin. The surface resembles a wounded body: scars, patches, and powdered areas recall cosmetic gestures used to cover injuries while never fully concealing them.
Three video screens are positioned within the installation. The moving images suggest the uninterrupted flow of digital media: fast, fragmentary, and noisy. Sound fills the space: music and spoken text overlap, creating an atmosphere of everyday noise rather than narrative clarity. What is heard feels familiar and banal, yet relentless. The work is experienced not only visually but also physically. The scale of the hanging fabric surrounds the viewer, while the sounds and flickering images create a sense of continuous exposure.
The installation conveys a tension between violence and care, between destruction and repair. It speaks of a prolonged bodily struggle with images from the media landscape: images that are manipulated, obscured, injured, and tended to, yet never fully silenced.
